Blintzes For Breakfast – Give It A Try!

My favorite memories of my Granny are the ones where I spent time with her in her favorite place, the kitchen. Well, now that I think about it, I’m not entirely sure that it was her favorite place. It’s without a doubt the area that she spent most of her time in though. She was always in there making different meals. She was up before the sun starting breakfast, and the second breakfast got done she was working on something for lunch so when the guys came in from the fields they would have something to eat.

Dinner started right after lunch, if she hadn’t already put something in the crock pot. Once in a while, she would treat us to her special blintzes. I remember I used to feel so fancy eating them. They seemed like something that should have came from a different country.

When I found this recipe on All Recipes, I couldn’t believe what they were actually made of. I spent all that time with Granny in the kitchen, and I guess I never really paid attention to how she made these yummy treats. It’s just bread! Who would have thought…
