These brownies look so beautiful and rich! You will love just looking at them. Might I add that you will want to eat them right away because they really do look so rich that you cannot resist them. Also, this recipe is so easy to make. I’m sure you could make the brownies and the red velvet cake from scratch, but I just don’t have that kind of time so I decided to go with the box mixes for both the brownies and red velvet. Guess what? They tasted amazing and took me no time to make them! This is dessert that I love to make and will make again and again. They were a huge hit among the kids and myself! Give this recipe a try and you will get people darting after them as soon as they see them!

“I only sampled a little taste. But I wanted more!”
I don’t think I am strong enough to only taste a sample! I might eat the whole pan!
Ingredients
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9×13 baking dish with parchment paper, set aside.
In a large bowl, prepare brownie mix according to manufacturer’s instructions. Spread into the bottom of the 9×13 pan in a smooth, even layer. Set aside.
In another large bowl, combine red velvet cake mix, vegetable oil, egg and milk and mix until completely incorporated and smooth. Spoon onto brownie layer randomly and swirl very gently with a butter knife in different directions. I like to zig zag side to side then up and down. Bake for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out almost clean with a small amount of batter on it. This will ensure that your brownies will be fudgy. Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting into them.
