A girlfriend of mine was off work for a few weeks because she had just had a baby. It was such a fun time for her. It was her second baby, so not much stress as the first time around. She was actually able to enjoy her time off instead of worrying about every little detail of the newborn. Anyone that has more than one child knows what I’m talking about here. There is a huge difference between the first time you bring a baby home and the second. The third one brings itself home. HA!
Anyway, she had invited everyone over for a BBQ as she was getting ready to go back to work and she wanted all her friends and family to have the chance to meet the baby before life got crazy again. So, of course I was headed to that event.
I knew that she wanted some fruit at the party, so I decided to go with this dessert that I had found on Spend With Pennies. It was super simple, and everyone there really loved it. There weren’t even any leftovers to leave her. Oops!
