You’re Never Going To Want Traditional Mac And Cheese Again!

Macaroni and cheese is by far one of the favorite dishes at our dinner table. There isn’t anyone that doesn’t take a huge helping when I set it out for a side dish, or even an entire meal. Usually, the way it works is, if I do a homemade baked macaroni and cheese, that’s all we are eating. If I have made something like sausages or hot dogs, then I might toss a boxed mac and cheese on the stove, just so that we have something that everyone likes to go with our main meat entree.

When I found this recipe on My Recipes, all I could think was that everything I needed was already in the one dish, and that’s a winner kind of dinner idea for me. I serve this up with a steamed vegetable or side salad, and dinner is done. It’s so easy, and super duper tasty.

My husband isn’t the biggest fan of my mac and cheese dishes most of the time, but this is one that he asks me to make all the time. It has a much heartier flavor, but everyone still really enjoys it.

Quick Tip: Leave one minute of cook time on your pasta… it will keep cooking while broiling.
