Here is a simple ingredient that’s bringing cheesecakes to a whole new level of YUM

When we were little, there was an ice cream truck that would come around where my brother and sister and I grew up. He didn’t show up very often, but when he did, we couldn’t contain our excitement. My parents almost had to give us each a dollar to save from pure chaos erupting in our house. There was only one thing that I wanted off of that truck… a creamsicle. Those things were the most delicious desserts that I ever had. My mom never bought them from the store, because she knew I would eat them all in one day.

So, when I saw this recipe on All Recipes, I knew I had to try it. As a grown up, now I also am a pretty big fan of cheesecake. So, these two flavors combined just had to be magical. I looked at the simple instructions and short ingredients list and made my way up to the store.

This went together very nicely. I didn’t know how I was going to wait the eight hours that it was going to take to set, but I managed. It was well worth that wait I can tell you that much. This is by far my favorite dessert that I’ve had now. I make it every chance I can.

Quick Tip: Double the recipe and use a large springfoam pan for an even bigger cake.
