I love when I have the opportunity to make a treat that my family absolutely loves. You know, sometimes a batch of chocolate chip cookies that are homemade can cheer up the whole family and make them forget their stresses for a little while when everyone sits around the table with a glass of milk and the batch of cookies in the middle. I promise, it works!
If you have never tried it, next time someone is overwhelmed or stressed in your household, make your family favorite treat and encourage everyone to sit together and enjoy them. Sometimes it is hard to decide what a great family favorite treat is, and honestly with some families that is constantly changing. I know that is how it is with my family.
Yesterday they liked chocolate chip cookies and today it is Rice Crispy treats. That is just how it goes. Well, that is why I always like to have original recipes stored away for days like this.
Today, I bring to you one of my family’s new favorites: Lucky Charms treats. Yep, instead of using Rice Crispy cereal to make the treats, you use Lucky Charms, and believe me, these are amazing!
