Double Your Dinner Fix With This Pizza Rigatoni Pie!

When I was a kid, my Mom often told me that I must have been an Italian in the past life just because I love pasta and pizza so much. When I was in college, my coffee addiction started. One of my friends told me I must have been a coffee bean in past life. When I developed fondness for sushi, sashimi, and tempura, my husband told me I must have been a Japanese in a past life. Well, all I can say is, I just love food; so I must have been a food tester in a past life.

Kidding. I just love food, and everything I crave for becomes my favorite. However, I think all of us love pizza.

Even my grandparents, when they were still alive, always craved for pizza. Grandma used to make homemade pizza for us whenever we stayed at their house. Her pizza crust was chewy, just like how I loved it (never a fan of crunchy thin crust)!

So… why am I talking about pizza? Well actually, it’s because of this recipe that I am about to share with you. It’s called pizza rigatoni pie.

When I made it for my family, my husband was a bit speechless. He probably thought I have some sort of machine that makes pizza that thick. I wish I took a picture of his face and my sons’ faces, who were both looking at their Dad as if they found him weird.

It’s the most amazing pie recipe because everything you want, plus a few more, is here! It’s pizza and pasta in one, the amazing Italian duo! It can’t get any better than this!
