The other day, Anne was at my house while I was cleaning. You know, Thursdays are just the perfect day for cleaning day in my home! Well, we got right to work. Well, I was working, she was just sitting at my counter bar stools yapping away. Well, I got to the point of cleaning out my fridge and began to lay out Tupperware’s full of food that I was going to throw out.
Anne thought I was taking it out to make lunch, but I told her no way, I do not know what to do with these odds and ends. I figured we would just go somewhere to lunch. Well, Anne could not believe I was going to throw those things away.
She opened everything, smelled it and said it was fine. So with that, she took a container of leftover rice in my fridge and began frying it in a bit of butter. She added garlic, salt and pepper, then finally she threw in the veggies I was going to throw out.
When those were soft again, she added in the chicken, tossed it up a few more times and then declared lunch was served.
