As soon as I got back home, I got online and searched for a black bean dip I could make. Nothing quite measured up. They all looked like black bean soup with some mix ins. Not my idea of a copycat Chipotle black bean dip. Well, I kept searching and came across this amazing recipe for a copycat recipe. It was so easy and EXACTLY like the one I had on that road trip.
Creamy (not chunky at all), sweet and savory with a tiny bit of spice. It is just perfect! Check out what our friends over at Wonky Wonderful had to say about this:

Ingredients
2 (15oz) Cans Bush’s Organic Black Beans – drained and rinsed
1 Garlic Clove – chopped
1 Small Chipotle Pepper – chopped
1 Tablespoon Adobo Sauce
Juice of 1 Lime
2 Tablespoons Bertolli Olive Oil (or to desired consistency)
Handful Fresh Cilantro
Pinch Sea Salt (to taste)
1/4 teaspoon Cumin
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in blender. Process until smooth.
