Three Basic Ingredients, One Great Dinner

When I cook meat and veggies in one pan, one of my favorite things about it is the way the flavors blend together.  The juices of the meat are sucked up by the veggies, and the veggies let off an aroma that is totally delicious.  So is the case with this casserole dish.

It is full of protein (chicken) carbs (potatoes) and veggies (green beans).  It is the perfect dinner for one of those rushed nights that you have no idea what to make.  Just pop all the ingredients in a casserole dish and bake until ready.  It cannot get any simpler than that.

Check out what our friends over at Yummy Healthy Easy had to say about this:

“Only 5 minutes of prep for a fantastic buttery, garlicky dinner. The best part? That frazzled mom at dinner time is gone. Now she can play with those crazy boys instead of spending the evening in front of the stove!”

Oh yeah, just 5 minutes and 4 ingredients for this one pot casserole dish that is sure to please!

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 cups potatoes, cut into ½ – 1 inch pieces

12 ounces fresh green beans or 1 (14-oz) bag frozen vegetables, any variety

1 (12-oz) pkg. Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken Campbell’s Oven Sauce

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400º F. Place chicken breasts in a 9×13″ baking dish. Arrange potatoes around the chicken and then top with the green beans. Spread Campbell’s Oven Sauce over the top of the green beans.

Bake for 40 minutes in preheated oven, or until chicken juices run clear and potatoes are fork-tender. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serve up on plates and enjoy!

Quick Tip: You can also make this in the crock pot by cooking on HIGH for 4 hours or until chicken is ready
