7 Ground Beef Casseroles That’ll Make You Moo – Check Out Number 3, It’s My Favorite!

3. Simple Southwest Ground Beef Casserole

Ground beef casseroles are a busy mom or dad’s best friend. Why? Because they are seriously easy to make and they get those kids fed. Plus, most kids enjoy ground beef casseroles versus other dishes like stuffed cabbage or liver and onions.

Shoot, I like stuffed cabbage but you won’t ever catch me eating a plate full of liver and onions. Yuck! Who wants to eat an organ whose primary role is to filter out toxins from the body? Not this girl.

Okay, where was I? Ah, yes! Southwestern ground beef casserole. So, yeah, this casserole is really good as it combines ground beef with cheese, noodles, and all of those delicious spicy southwestern seasonings that you can’t help but crave. I was able to whip this little beauty up in just under an hour. Enjoy!

So excited to see new casserole recipes. So bummed when EVERY SINGLE ONE had tomatoes (sauce, soup) in them – no can do tomatoes!

tried this for the first time tonight and used pizza sauce instead of tomato sauce. had hamburger with onions, pepperoni, black olives and mozzarella cheeses and it was amazing. like a deep dish pizza

This has no seasonings in it!! How can it be like pizza?? Hamburger and Tomatoes on Biscuits!! Not worth trying in my book!! My mother-in-lay taught me how to make a spaghetti pizza on a tight budget 40 years ago. Is still a family favorite!! Kids love pizza and spaghetti!! I do use package pizza crust now, instead of making it from scratch. Yours would be good and simple with some basil, oregano, garlic powder, garlic salt and Italian seasonings!! Try it!! Simple dish bumped up!!
