7 Ground Beef Casseroles That’ll Make You Moo – Check Out Number 3, It’s My Favorite!

6. Ground Beef And Cabbage Casserole

Every now and then I have to pull out momma’s recipe box and make something that she did so I can feel closer to her, and of course be nostalgic with my own kids over the foods that I loved best when I was their age. Cabbage rolls was one of them, I could just never get enough. While time consuming, the dish was always well worth it.

I usually make it in the fall, and with the season approaching I’ve stocked up on the ingredients I need. Then while browsing the internet I came across this deconstructed version that seemed great! As long as I have the same ingredients and flavors I’m in, and it saves me all that rolling and toothpick sticking!

I can’t tell you how many times one of us has bit into a toothpick, and thankfully no one was injured because that could be very bad if you think about it.

So excited to see new casserole recipes. So bummed when EVERY SINGLE ONE had tomatoes (sauce, soup) in them – no can do tomatoes!

tried this for the first time tonight and used pizza sauce instead of tomato sauce. had hamburger with onions, pepperoni, black olives and mozzarella cheeses and it was amazing. like a deep dish pizza

This has no seasonings in it!! How can it be like pizza?? Hamburger and Tomatoes on Biscuits!! Not worth trying in my book!! My mother-in-lay taught me how to make a spaghetti pizza on a tight budget 40 years ago. Is still a family favorite!! Kids love pizza and spaghetti!! I do use package pizza crust now, instead of making it from scratch. Yours would be good and simple with some basil, oregano, garlic powder, garlic salt and Italian seasonings!! Try it!! Simple dish bumped up!!
