This is such a great recipe because it can be used for other meals as well, instead of just breakfast. Check out what my friends at Lauren’s Latest had to say about this soul soothing recipe:

“This is whats for dinner tonight! I just used cream of chicken soup from a can and added a cup of milk. I also used diced ham versus the sausage and it tastes so so good! Definitely one I will make again and take to potlucks.”

Ingredients

cream of chicken soup
1/2 teaspoon McCormick thyme
1/2 teaspoon McCormick poultry seasoning
salt & pepper, to taste
1 32-oz. bag of Simply Potatoes hash browns, defrosted
14 oz. Ekrich smoked sausage, diced
1 small onion, diced
1 1/2 cups Kraft grated cheddar cheese

Instructions:

Place hash browns, smoked sausage, onion and cheese together in a lightly greased crockpot. Pour over cream of chicken soup (about 2 cups, check after a couple of hours and add more, if needed) and stir. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or until potatoes are soft and sausages are hot.
