Who doesn’t like biscuits and gravy raise your hand… nobody?
That’s what I thought. I don’t think I have ever met anyone that doesn’t like a nice homemade biscuit covered in a hearty gravy. Well, there is my sister who could live without it but she will eat it if that’s what we have for a meal. So, when we were going to stay at the lake house last year, that’s when I decided that was the dish I was going to bring. My sister suggested maybe doing a casserole of some kind, just to save on dishes and time.
That was one idea I could hop on board with. I figured I would just switch my menu item to a traditional breakfast casserole, until I found this biscuits and gravy one. How perfect is that?
I’m not so sure sister Sarah was thrilled with the plan, but everyone else that was there really enjoyed it. My brother-in-law Don even asked me to make it again the next time I go up there. Will do Don!
