When it comes to spreads and dips there really isn’t much that I turn my nose up too. However, I am not a fan of pickled herring mousse. Oh, my goodness! This one time, I was at a buffet and I thought I was placing a cool whip type of mousse on my plate, right? I get the back to my table and take a big old spoonful of the stuff into my mouth, fully expecting a sweet treat, and nope. It was pickled herring spread! I was traumatized for days.
Anyhoo, this dip is not for pickled herring spread. It is a delightful Amish quilting bee sandwich spread that contains cream cheese, olives, and other goodies. Enjoy!
