I don’t know about your family gatherings, but at mine growing up, and even now, I can pretty much guess everything that is going to be served. We used to go to a Grandma provided meal for all of our holidays and other occasions, but then she got older. We decided that it would be better to split up some of the dishes and let everyone bring something. That sounded like a fine plan to me.
Not only did I not want Grandma getting stuck doing all the work, I wanted to learn some of those recipes! The first thing that I volunteered for was her BBQ meatballs. It was one thing that I filled my plate with at every single dinner that we had.
Her recipe was just like this one from Relative Taste and let me tell you, one word… AMAZING! I could eat just these for dinner every night for the rest of my life I’m pretty positive.
