Fast And Simple Guinness Soup… For Your Mature Taste Buds

My Husband Made This For Me And It Is Out Of This World!

My sister and brother-in-law, along with their two kids came in for a visit with their camper last summer from a few states over. It was super hot outside, so we spent a lot of time outdoors soaking up the sun. While we were catching the rays, we enjoyed a few adult beverages and watched the kids swim in the pool. My brother-in-law is a dark beer drinker, and he bought Guinness from the local convenience store when him and the hubby went up for drinks.

He didn’t drink as many as he thought he would, so there were a few left in the cooler, which ended up in the fridge when I cleaned it out. The only problem was, we didn’t drink Guinness… so what was I going to do with the beers?

I stumbled upon this recipe on The Seasoned Mom for a Guinness soup and thought is sounded pretty tasty. I decided that it wasn’t going to hurt. There really wasn’t much going to waste if we didn’t like it. Nothing went to waste actually, because it was so darn tasty. Who would have thought a soup made from beer could be so good!
