This Chicken Dump-And-Bake Is As Smooth As Butta!

When I was younger and living at home, we didn’t eat a lot of chicken, or a lot of rice. My mom didn’t like either one, so she didn’t really make them too often. I never really made them after I first moved out on my own either. I didn’t know how. My mom hadn’t shared those kinds of recipes with me. My husband on the other hand, was very used to chicken and rice casseroles, and he loved them. I had to have my mother-in-law teach me.

She first gave me a recipe a lot like this one from The Seasoned Mom for butter chicken with rice. I wasn’t so sure about it at first, but it was actually very good. The most amazing part to me was how easy it was to make. If I would have known that, I would have started making dishes like this a long time ago!

I made it for my husband and he couldn’t stop gobbling it down. Good thing I made a full-sized pan that day. We nearly at all of it. The leftovers were put in the fridge, but they didn’t last long. They were scarfed down that very same night.
