Change The Brat Game With This Philly Cheese Version

I cannot get anyone in my family to eat vegetables in any of the foods I make. It drives me pretty much insane. There is just so much flavor that we are missing out by adding in those yummy little morsels. I do what I can with spices, but it’s just not the same. All of that changed one day when I made my husband a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. At first he turned up his nose at the green peppers and onions, but I made him try it before he picked them all off. He was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

When summer came around, I figured I would give it a shot again, this time with a brat that I had found on NeighborFood. Same idea, just using a bratwurst instead of the traditional meat. Again, I got the same look, but requested him to try it first.

He gobbled down three of these babies! My kids saw him eating them and actually gave them a fair chance too. My littlest three-year-old still picked out his veggies, but the other two kids loved them just as much as we did!
