I was hosting a party for my niece for her graduation from high school. I never had children of my own, so I asked my sister if I could do the honors. Considering she already put two kids through college, she was more than willing to allow me to take the reigns. I almost called the catering company in town, but I decided this was my own chance to do it myself, so I started planning the menu.
I knew that we would have meatballs, ham, and a nice garden salad. I needed some other sides though. My niece loves mashed potatoes, and I found this recipe on Cravings Of A Lunatic. This was going to be the one.
I made a great big batch and put them in the crock pot for serving. They went fabulously with the rest of the meal and the party was a great big hit. My niece couldn’t stop thanking me. I was happy to help
