Hop Right Into This Grasshopper Poke Cake!

I am one of those people that love to celebrate holidays, all of them! I just enjoy decorating the house, even if it is just on the inside only. I find it to be a lot of fun for me. Plus. I love to go shopping for super cute holiday house decorations. I have tons of them and I mean tubs filled with decorations for every holiday. Luckily, I have a lot of storage in my house!

One the most recent holidays that we celebrated was St. Patrick’s day. That is always  a really fun holiday for me. Well, it used to be a different kind of fun for me when I was much younger! There’s not a whole lot of green beer going around in my house these days!

My daughter’s school was having a little St. Paddy’s day party at her school. Some of the parents were volunteering to come help and bring snacks.

That sort of thing is right up my alley. I was the first to volunteer! I was thinking of what I could make to bring to the school.

I was thinking about all of the green desserts and then I remembered this grasshopper poke cake! It’s not exactly Irish, but it is green! This cake is so yummy. It’s so moist and I love the mint chocolate flavor! This cake was a huge hit among the kids. They were thought the name of it was cool. I can’t even tell you how many kids asked me if there was really grasshoppers in this cake. They were happier to find out that the crunchiness was only from the Oreo topping!
