I have a terrible time trying to get my kids to eat any sort of vegetable, but I want to make sure that they get all of their required nutrients. Fruits I have a much better time with. Anytime I set out just about any kind of fruit it gets gobbled right up. When I want to make this salad, I have to make sure to tell them that I am doing just that or they will have the strawberries and bananas gone before I even have a chance to get to them. They love this salad though so they will wait.
Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Spend With Pennies:
“A dessert salad is something that you can’t go wrong with when you are feeding a crowd of hungry guests!”
You may want to double up on these ingredients especially if there are a lot of little ones around… they love the stuff!
