When the weekend hits our house, that means one thing to me, time to play around in the kitchen! So many people dread standing over a hot stove for hours on end, but I love it. I get so much satisfaction when something that I have created comes out looking great and tasting even better. That’s exactly what happened the first time that I made these potato skins with bacon, sour cream, and chives. I mean, the name alone is enough to get you drooling.
Cravings Of A Lunatic had the recipe that I discovered a little while back while sitting on my lunch break at work. That’s right, while everyone is soaking up their few minutes of time to relax, I am soaking up new recipes to try out. Maybe I should have been a chef instead of an office worker.
At any rate. I made these and everyone at my house went nuts for them. Good thing there were so many, because we ate each and every one. They are also awesome for potlucks and social gatherings.
