What’s nice about this is you can really use any cut of chicken that you want or whatever you can find on sale. I like to use the grilled chicken breast, just because it seems like it’s a little bit easier. You can either leave the chicken whole and eat it alongside a few of your favorite side dishes, or shred it up like a pulled pork and eat it on your favorite hoagie or bun roll. Either way you do it, you aren’t going to be disappointed. The flavor is one of a kind!

“Growing up in the islands and getting Huli Huli Chicken from the street vendors, I’ve got to admit that you have my taste buds going! This sounds amazing! I’d love a big ol’ sammich of that right now!”
There’s nothing better than making your own version of this at home, no matter where you’re from!
Ingredients
1 package of pre-cooked grilled chicken breasts (20 oz/1.25 lb/566 g)
¼ cup Swanson chicken broth
¼ cup Italian dressing
½ cup Domino brown sugar
¾ cup Heinz ketchup
¾ cup soy sauce
¼ cup honey
1 to 2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 can crushed pineapple (398 ml/14 fl oz)
½ cup water
Instructions
Place all your ingredients in the slow cooker and turn it on the low setting. Cook for about 6 to 8 hours, depending on how tender you want your chicken.
Remove from slow cooker.
If you want to take it up a notch transfer the meat to a skillet, cook over medium heat and add a little of the sauce from the slow cooker. Add a little corn starch to it and cook until thickened. Serve on it’s own, or pile it on slider buns.
Serve with a big old Huli Huli Chicken loving smile!
