My favorite movie of all time is My Big Fat Greek Wedding. There is a scene in that movie that just has me cracking up all of the time. If my kids hear me roaring with laughter, they know exactly why. I just cannot help myself. When I start laughing I just keep going and going. It’s that kind of laughter that hurts your stomach, but is still so funny at the same time.
It’s the scene in the movie where the groom’s parents bring over a bundt cake to this big crazy Greek family’s party. The groom’s mother and the bride’s mother go back and forth about a bundt cake. The one woman has never heard if it and they just keep at it.
Okay, so it’s way more funny when you watch the movie! I am not doing it justice at all. But I do love that scene – oh my gosh! Anyways, I was inspired to make a bundt cake because of that movie. I wanted to share this recipe with you all because this lemon bundt cake is so delicious. It’s a dense cake, but yet the lemon gives it a lightness to is. You will love it!
