Slow Cooker Swiss Steak That’ll Set Your Dinner Table Apart From Others

My sister was in a pinch recently, and she needed me to come and watch her kids. Of course! I love those little rascals. My kids love going there too to play with them so it really wasn’t much of a job. She said that she already had dinner taken care of so I didn’t need to worry about anything. I’m not going to lie, I stopped and got a fast food order of chicken nuggets for my four year old, he doesn’t like anything, and away we went. The kids were so happy to see each other, and they played together so nicely.

Before I knew it, dinner time had arrived. I hadn’t even been in the kitchen yet to see what she was talking about. As soon as I got close though, I was hit with the most amazing smell. Then I saw the crock pot sitting on the counter. Okay then! This is going to be good.

It was swiss steak, just like a recipe that I saw on Cinnamon-Spice & Everything Nice. It seemed like somewhat of an adult dish, so I was a little nervous about feeding it to the kids. I don’t know why though. They all loved it! Clearly her kids had eaten before, but my kids really enjoyed it as well.
