Will You Be Serving Broccoli Wild Rice Casserole At Your Next Family Dinner?

My cousin was coming to visit for the holidays, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled. We hadn’t seen her in like two years or something like that. She moved to the big city and forgot about us, or so we thought. Well, not really. She always kept in touch, she just didn’t come home anymore. So, when she finally did, it was going to be quite an event. Grandma wanted to have a big dinner at her house at least one of the days that she was home. She wanted to be sure that she would get a chance to spend some time with her, without having to go anywhere.

We all volunteered to bring something different. I said that I would bring a side casserole. I knew that my cousin like broccoli, so I had the perfect recipe for her. I had seen it on The Pioneer Woman and even made it for my family before. It was extremely tasty. Any excuse to make it again, I’m going for it.

It came out just as yummy as what I remembered. It was a good thing there was a great big pot of it. Otherwise, I may have just decided to keep it for myself at home. It’s that good!
