One day I was placed with the task of making desserts for a baby shower. I had a few desserts planned out. You know the typical things like cookies, pies, cakes, fruit salads. But it didn’t feel enough. I wanted to make something that was rich and creamy and not so typical. I immediately thought of cheesecake. It’s like the hamburger of desserts because you can literally add anything to it and the cheesecake will taste delicious.
So, I was thinking that I did not have enough chocolatey dessert items, but I didn’t want to just a chocolate only cheesecake. What goes good with chocolate? Well, that’s like asking what goes good with chesecake?! Lot’s of things. I was thinking caramel, raspberries, strawberries, etc. Then, my son yelled out peanut butter! He said that lots of yummy things go with chocolate, but only a few things go with peanut butter.
Peanut butter and chocolate! That is the perfect combo for this cheesecake. It’s rich, creamy, chocolatey, and full of peanut butter. This recipe is absolutely a delightful treat and not to mention a huge hit at the baby shower. This is a recipe that I will repeat for future events and for at home to. My family loved the taste testing!
