Savory Sausage And Cabbage Skillet Supper – It’s Easy And It’s Pleasy!

I can remember as a kid my mother was always making meals that had some sort of cabbage in them.

She would make cabbage soup, cabbage rolls, and cabbage casserole. However, one of my most favorite meals that mom would scratch up would have to be smoked sausage and cabbage seared in a skillet. Talk about a Yum Fest. My mother was such a good cook and still is today. She could make anything taste great, even a silly old cabbage.

Now it’s my turn to take over the title as Cabbage Queen and make my own leafy concoctions. When I came across this recipe for cabbage and sausage in the skillet I instantly knew I had to make it. You see, I have this old cast iron skillet passed down to me from my grandma and it makes the best skillet meals. Sausage and cabbage compliment one another perfectly and they make a lovely supper. Try it 🙂
