I love experimenting when it comes to food, but I have a rule for myself. If I am not familiar with the food that I am preparing, I should stick to the recipe and just modify it as I become more familiar with it. I do this because if I just adjust the ingredients without me being familiar with the dish, then it will surely fail. Once I made it twice, that’s the time I would allow myself to personalize a certain dish based on my and my family’s preferences.
I make a lot of casseroles because it’s one dish that I can get away with not being familiar. Casseroles are probably the most flexible dishes ever. You can do anything you want with it without ruining the dish itself.
I found a delicious casserole recipe that my family instantly fell in love with. It’s called Chicken Cobbler Casserole, and I found it at My Recipes. When you visit their site, you can find a lot of other recipes which you can try for your family.
Anyway, back to this chicken cobbler casserole- you will never regret making this for anyone. The mixture of flavors in this recipe will drive you crazy in a good way. It’s something familiar, but it’s not something you cook every day so it will be worth trying.
You can find a full copy of this recipe on the next page. I hope you enjoy this as much as my family did.
