Dip Your Bread In This, Close Your Eyes, And You’ll Be In The Italian Countryside

There is nothing I love more than going to a restaurant that serves bread.  Yep, a restaurant that gives you a big loaf of deliciousness with each and every meal.  The type of loaf that is perfect with butter that melts away when you place a little pat on it because the loaf is so warm right out of the oven.  There is truly nothing better than that as an appetizer if you ask me.

I could eat that all day, every day, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, appetizers, and even as a midnight snack.  I actually have eaten that little combo at all of those times of the day! It is just so good!

With that being said, there is also something amazing about going to a restaurant that not only serves that loaf of bread, but with it gives you a little plate of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar with a sprinkle of salt and freshly cracked pepper.  Props if they bring the oil with a delicious seasoning in it due to delicious herbs scattered throughout.  If that is the case, I pass on the balsamic and just enjoy those herbs. I will easily eat the entire loaf just like that with the oil
