“Chicken breasts simmered in an amazing garlic and lime mixture, and cooked to a tender perfection!”

This is the best thing about this- the chicken is so tender you don’t need any knife to aid you in cutting. Slow cooker does tenderizing best, and it’s one of the reasons why I love using it. Your family will love this as much as mine does!

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 Tyson skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
  • 4 cups Green Giant broccoli florets
  • 4 large carrots, cut into a few big pieces
  • 1/3 cup lime juice (about 5 whole limes)

  • 1 tablespoon Heinz rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Cookwell sesame oil
  • 2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Argo cornstarch
  • McCormick toasted sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
  • fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and arrange on the bottom of your slow cooker insert.
  • If using the vegetables, arrange them over the chicken. Set aside.

  • Pour over chicken and veggies; close with a lid.
  • Cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours or on LOW for 6 to 7 hours.
  • Spoon 2 tablespoons liquid from the slow cooker into a bowl and whisk cornstarch into the liquid until well combined.
  • Stir the cornstarch mixture back into the slow cooker.
  • Continue to cook on high until the sauce thickens, about 20 to 30 minutes.
