How To Make The Tastiest Sandwich On The Planet

I am a Cuban-American girl.  I was born here in the US, specifically in Ohio, but my parents are Cuban.  My ancestry in Cuba runs deep so I associate with that most.  My parents are huge fans of everything Cuban culture and we grew up knowing all the Cuban things and especially the best part: eating the Cuban food.  That food is seriously the best I have ever tasted in my life!

And that is saying something, because I have tasted some crazy and delicious things!  Well, we love it so much, we have our go-to Cuban meals that happen at least 3-4 times per week. When you are making something that often, you begin to know how to make it in your sleep.

I mean, it really becomes that simple and easy.  We make the same meals (breaded steak with white rice, black beans, and fried sweet plantains or mashed yucca with broiled pork rinds and fried green plantains) literally every week.  Well, this one right here has been added to the rotation in the recent times because of how delicious and easy it is.  My husband knows how to make it, too, so believe me when I say we have it a lot!
