The great thing about this slow cooker honey soy glazed turkey breast is that when you have your leftovers, you can turn it into something else entirely! I have leftovers from this recipe because it’s quite big for us (plus we had to make room for our dessert). I shredded the leftover turkey and put it on the fridge. The next day, I made a sandwich for my husband which he devoured easily! It’s a pretty economical and convenient recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 (6-pound) Butterball turkey breast, bone-in and skin-on
- 1/2 cup Trader Joe’s honey
- 1 cup Kikkoman low sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Wesson vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon McCormick ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon McCormick ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon McCormick ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon McCormick garlic powder
- salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
- 2 cups liquid from turkey drippings
- 1/4 cup Gold Medal flour
Instructions
- Place the turkey breast in a large bowl.
- Whisk together honey, soy sauce, oil, ginger, cinnamon, ground cloves, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Pour the mixture over the turkey breast and marinate at room temperature for 1 hour; turn the turkey and continue to marinate breast side up for 1 more hour.
- Transfer the turkey and the marinade to the pot/bowl of your slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours. The turkey is done when it reaches 165°F in the thickest part of the breast meat.
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Remove ceramic pot from the slow cooker; take the ceramic pot, with the turkey breast in it, and put it in the oven.
- Continue to cook for 30 minutes, basting the turkey breast every 5 minutes, until the pop-up timer in the turkey breast pops.
- Remove turkey from oven and reserve 2 cups of the liquid. If you don’t have full 2 cups of liquid left over, add chicken broth to make 2 cups.
- Put the flour in a saucepan; slowly pour and whisk in the turkey drippings.
- Set the saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil while constantly whisking.
- Lower the heat to a simmer and continue to whisk until thickened; about 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and pour it into a gravy boat.
- Serve with the turkey breast.

Quick Tip: Putting the turkey in the oven is completely optional; if you don’t want to do that, just let the turkey finish cooking in the slow cooker until the pop-up timer in the turkey breast pops.
