Our Favorite Poultry Goes Hawaiian With This Pineapple Chicken Recipe!

When I used breasts for this recipe, it came out nicely. Since I used those parts, I was able to adjust the seasonings and made it a little stronger. However, chicken thighs have more flavor, so when I used them, I lessened the measurement of a few ingredients. It actually depends on you or your family. You can have this recipe however you want. It’s pretty versatile and you wouldn’t regret cooking this for anyone.

Ingredients

4 Tyson bone-in chicken breasts (30 ounces), skin removed
1 dash McCormick pepper
McCormick paprika to taste
1 (20-ounce) can Dole pineapple tidbits in juice
2 Tablespoons Heinz Dijon mustard
2 Tablespoons Great Value soy sauce
1 large clove garlic, minced

 

Instructions

1. Arrange chicken in bottom of crockpot. Sprinkle with pepper and paprika. In a small bowl, combine drained pineapple tidbits, mustard, soy sauce and garlic. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW 7-9 hours or HIGH 3-4 hours.

2. Remove chicken from crockpot and serve immediately. For serving: serve alongside potatoes, or shred the chicken and serve it over rice. Drizzle juices over.
