It’s The Cranberries’ Turn To Steal The Spotlight With These Cookies!

Weekends are family day. As much as possible, I and my husband don’t plan anything over the weekends with friends. Our weeknights are for that except Fridays. My husband usually relaxes at least once a week with his friends before going home. Sometimes, my friends and I have a night-in at one of our houses, watching movies and cooking together as we watch over our kids. But the weekends are solely for family.

One weekend ago, my husband brought back these DVDs that a friend lent to him. We take turns in finding family movies that we can watch with our kids. It was his turn that night.

The movie was about a family that was falling apart, but a child that was brought to them instantly changed their lives. He brought the family closer together until they’re finally happy. At the end though, the child vanished.

The child was an angel sent to repair the family relationship. It was a tearjerker movie, but in a good way. If an angel is sent to our family, I will probably keep him forever so my twins can have another sibling.

I was too touched that I was able to finish the cranberry butter cookies that I made for our movie night. Okay, that was an excuse. These chewy cookies with lemon glaze was too delicious to ignore.

These perfect nibbles are the perfect companion to an amazing night with the family!
