I Recognize A Winner Recipe When I See One!

There was a time this month when my brother and my niece left to visit my parents. Andy wasn’t able to come with them because she has a case she was working on it’s truly eating her time. It’s as if the only thing she did for a break was to breathe. It so happened that Andy was given a weekend free. But since she still couldn’t follow her family in case she was needed by her bosses, she went over to my house and asked if she could stay the weekend.

I knew how she felt. She was stressed and while she needed to relax, she needed company too. Of course I said yes. So we had a bit of a sisterly bonding that weekend.

One of our ways in having fun was playing this board game called Millionaire’s Game. It was a game where the one with the most money and property by the end, wins the game. My boyfriend arrived on Saturday night and joined us in the game.

But before he did, he cooked us his mom’s chicken stew while Andy and I got the game ready. We had a bit of fun and I was glad to see Andy relaxing. When my brother and my niece arrived on a Sunday, I told him to take care of Andy more, which of course he agreed to do.

I wish we’d have another weekend like that though, but this time with all three of them. Anyway, enjoy this slow cooker chicken stew recipe!
