Most of my friends are working parents, which is why even when they do not mean to, they sometimes forget a lot of things that involve their children. Just a while back, April experienced something that almost made her daughter Sanja hate her for days. You know how kids are. When you promise them something, they always remember it even after a few weeks.
April promised Sanja that she will bake her the best birthday cake ever for her birthday. And that she will have the most delicious cake to celebrate her special day with. April was caught up with work for a few weeks and she almost forgot to make one for her daughter.
It was a good thing she has set up an alarm that would remind her that she needed to fulfill a promise that would make her daughter happy. Unfortunately though, she was full to the brim with work that day and she wasn’t able to worry about the cake until she went home. Fortunately, one of our friends gave her this recipe, which allowed her to make a special cake for Sanja’s birthday.
While true that it wasn’t what she originally planned to make, she was still able to make Sanja happy. The recipe for this cake can be found on the next page. It’s a double treat for you!
