The twist in these crispy fish nuggets recipe will definitely surprise you! I did surprise me at first. You see, I tasted these fish nuggets when it was served to us by a friend. I knew there was something different with the breading because it tasted a bit like sour cream, but there’s something else in there too, which I couldn’t pinpoint. I must have had about a couple of pieces when I finally asked my friend what was on it. I was truly curious about the bread crumbs she used because it has a different texture than most bread crumbs. My friend laughed and told me it wasn’t bread crumbs. I was truly shocked when she told me it was Pringles with the vinegar flavor.
Now I am not a fan of vinegar. It’s fine with me to add it to a recipe, but I didn’t want it dominating the taste. I am not a fan of its smell. And usually, when we don’t like the smell, we won’t even like to taste it. But as long as the vinegar flavor isn’t overwhelming, I will love it. It’s the reason why I love this recipe. I love it so much that I asked my friend the recipe for this. She led me to a site where I can get it. She also told me I could make this using other flavors of Pringles, which I already tried actually. My favorite was the plain one. Anyway, my husband also loved it surprisingly, so you would always find me making a batch of these at least once a month! Thank you, Recipe Chatter for this recipe! You saved me!
