My dad is a doctor and ever since we were little girls, he would take us to work with him. You see, my siblings and I were homeschooled. We got to spend our days doing our school in the backyard, or at the park when others were stuck in a classroom. Contrary to popular belief, we excelled as well as were very good with our people skills. It was a tough few years as people were wondering how we would turn out, but I think we did just fine. Haha!
Anyway, on those little trips to the office, we would get to hang out with the office manager. We would do our school in her office while she did her work and then go on little errand runs with her. We would pick up lunch for my dad, take some checks to the bank, and do the groceries for the supply closet. On one of those supply closet days, we stopped in a Dollar Tree to pick up toilet paper. By the register on our way out, we found Snickerdoodle Cookies. I had never tried them so the office manager bought them for me. Oh my goodness, we were hooked from then on and always had boxes of those stashed in her office.
