Sasha’s Hubby’s Apple Cinnamon Pretzel Twists And Her Twin Babies

Sasha is a friend who is a mom to two of the most adorable twin girls in the universe. I am a godmother to one so I could have said I’m just a bit biased, but everyone who sees them, even the strangers at the mall, think that these two beauties are really very cute and adorable. Their names were Marian and Marcia. Whenever I visit her and the twins (Marian is my goddaughter), I love hearing the stories on how Sasha was when she’s carrying them.

Her husband told me she was really a pain when she was pregnant. She craved for a lot of things that couldn’t be bought in regular supermarkets. There was even a time when he had to cross over to another state just because she was craving for a cream puff that’s sold only in the particular bakery. But he said that there’s nothing more painful that her sudden cravings for cinnamon twists that forced her tired husband to get up in the middle of the night just to bake them. Sasha loved them fresh from the oven, he said. She didn’t want a cold one or a reheated one. Oh my goodness. It’s a good thing that her husband knew how to bake or else the twins might not have been born!

Quick Tip: Egg washing the pretzel twists before you add the sugar, helps glue the sugar to the pretzel.
