I know, I know, these sound pretty plain and boring. But, you all know I would never bring to you a boring recipe that you might already have buried deep within your old cookbooks. Instead, I am always trying to bring you something original, or maybe an old recipe with a twist. I do not want you to feel you do not need these recipes, but instead that you HAVE to make this right now. That is exactly why I bring you this recipe today.
Sure, it seems boring at first glance and the picture may look like any ol’ brownie, but these are not. These are the brownies that used to be served years ago in schools. And everyone knows lunch lady brownies are the best brownies. They are full of chocolatey goodness, and a creamy frosting over the top that hardens over time so it is not messy. Make these today and it will transport you back to your elementary school days. Or make them for your grandkids who are not getting to try these because they are not made in school anymore. Either way, you (and your family) are sure to love these little sweet treats that take you back in time!
