Easy-To-Make, Easy-To-Disappear Mocha Truffles!

We always have that group of friends that can never stay away from anything sweet; the ones that go to your house just to beg you to bake them anything that will satisfy their sweet teeth. I always relent whenever that happens. Because I’d rather spend my day baking (the smell of cooking sugar and melting chocolate calm me) instead of listening to whiny friends who will not shut up just because you deprived them of a sweet treat. I get them to help, of course. Just not with chopping chocolates. Because once one of them gets his or her hands on the chocolates, there will be nothing left.

My best friend belongs to another set of friends. She is the one who told me about this recipe that she called Coffee Truffles. She even made a batch for me so she can show me how this can solve my tiny little problem. She got this recipe from Taste of Home and just modified it a bit. It’s a truly easy one to make that even a kitchen noob will be able to make it without having problems. You all have to try this! It tastes so good that you will wonder how such simple steps can lead to such an end product!

Quick Tip:  Truffles can be frozen for several months before dipping in chocolate. Thaw in the refrigerator before dipping.
