I think the best ingredient in the kitchen in garlic. I will put garlic on anything and everything. Think bread, chicken, beef, toast, pasta, sauces, and just about any meal I can get my hands on. I am also addicted to garlic powder. It really is so tasty and completely revolutionizes the flavor of every meal. I use it in so many recipes and I do not think it will ever change. I do not know where I got my love for garlic, but I do not think it is going away anytime soon.
Garlic on chicken is my number one favorite flavor. It is the way I always season my chicken. Just some garlic, salt and pepper and pop it in the oven and it is good to go. My husband always compliments it and thinks it is such a complicated recipe when it really is anything but that. This garlic chicken is so simple and the best part is that it is made in the slow cooker. Over hours it simmers away and the garlic is infused in the chicken and makes it so tasty. Add a few fresh herbs over this and you have got yourself a perfect treat.
