Frosty The Snowman Approves Of These Festive Fruitcake Cookies

Okay, guys and gals, I’m going to be honest with you. I hate fruitcake. Like, seriously hate the stuff. To me, it’s like a dry brick of weird fruit and nuts that nobody else wants. Yuck! However, these fruitcake cookies are the complete opposite of the dreaded fruitcake. I can’t explain it but I love them! They are soft and chewy and taste so good. I put them in decorative tins last holiday season and gave them away to friends and family for Christmas presents. Everyone loved them and gobbled them up like nobody’s business.

So, basically, whether you like fruitcake or not the chances are pretty good you will enjoy these cookies. I mean, just look how happy and jolly that snowman in in the picture. He looks like he wants to grab up a few of those cookies and eat them before he melts into a puddle. LOL I do have a child with tree nut allergies in my house so we left those out of the mix but the cookies still came out tasting fantastic 🙂
