If you are anything like me then you are probably a potato lover. One of my most favorite ways to eat potatoes is scalopped. I love how tender they are in the middle and the top layer cooks to a golden crispy brown.
So delicious! Scalloped potatoes were a staple part of my beloved grandmother’s Sunday meals. For the longest time, I thought she was saying “scalped” potatoes lol!
Over the years, I started experimenting with my own scalloped potato recipes. I’d make them in the oven, the Crock Pot, and even in the microwave once. Not my finest cooking moment haha! I think you’ll really like this recipe, though, as the potatoes turn out exactly as they are supposed to. Enjoy!

Quick Tip: Allow these potatoes to cook uncovered during the last few minutes of baking for a golden brown top.
WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW CHOCOLATE MILK CAN ENHANCE SCALLOPED OR MEAT LOAF. WHERE DID THIS RECEIPT ORIGINATE.
These are really au gratin since they have cheese
Recipe is not scalloped potatoes…Cheese makes it au gratin potatoes.. Just saying..
It sounds like there are too many potatoes for 1 quart dish. Is this correct?
These are Au Gratin, not scalloped
what is trumoo milk,is it like whole milk
How will this fit in a 1 quart dish? 4 cups of potatoes alone would fill the dish. Is the dish size listed supposed to be 2 quarts?
