Enjoy the creamy goodness of mascarpone cheese whipped into heavy whipping cream layered with lady fingers soaked in espresso. This recipe looks far more complicated than it is. I have always loved Tiramisu.
Growing up, it was my favorite dessert, but it was so hard to find. For our honeymoon, my husband and I traveled to Rome where I knew I would probably find the best Tiramisu I had ever had in my life…and it was true. The best part is that it was from a local McDonald’s.
Don’t let the fact that it was from McDonald’s fool you..oh no…it was the most delectable treat I had tried in my life. My husband had truthfully never been a fan of the dessert, but after trying it on our honeymoon, boy was he hooked. Now, even though he’s not a huge fan of Italian food, he always wants to have Italian so we can get some Tiramisu for dessert.
His obsession has become so big, I decided I’d try to save some money and make a perfect one for him at home. And that’s exactly what this recipe is: perfect.

Quick Tip: Omit the liquor if you prefer a less intense taste…the coffee in itself adds quite a kick.
