You Won’t Believe What Ingredient Is Missing From This Honey Bun Cake

When I was younger, my parents would give me a small allowance at the end of the week. As soon as I got that money in my hand, I was heading up to the local convenience store to spend it on junk food. I know, it sounds terrible, but I was a kid. At least I was a thrifty one. I would buy the cheapest things that I could in order to get the most for my money. One of the items that always went in  my little shopping basket was a honey bun cake. It was just a small, individual sized cake that tasted like my own little slice of heaven.

Those were the days when things were simple. When I saw this recipe on Dinner Then Dessert, it took me right back to those days of living carefree. I had to make it right away. The flavor was way better than those cheap snack cakes I used to buy, and I got a whole cake full of it!

I fed this to my family and they instantly fell in love with it too. It was so easy to make, and because it’s a honey bun, we can even have it for breakfast!
