My sister called me from a short distance away from our house and said that she was on her way over, with her family of four. I was so excited. She hardly ever surprises us like that because we live a pretty fair distance away from each other. She asked if she should pick up some food for everyone, and I told her that she had pretty good timing because dinner was just about done, and there was plenty to go around. I had just happened to make this crock pot lasagna recipe that I had seen on Group Recipes.
It was in the crock pot and there was only a few minutes until it was going to be done. Now, with the larger crowd, I tossed some garlic bread in the oven just to help in filling everyone up. She could smell it from the driveway I think. “Lasagna? Smells delicious!”
We all sat down to a nice big family dinner and then they stuck around for some quality visiting time. There wasn’t one complaint from the table. Just lots of Mhmmmms!
