Gifts make people happy whatever they are. It’s mostly about the thoughts which count. When you receive a gift, you always feel important and loved. Gifts usually mean that you were thought of by someone or a group of someones, and there’s no better feeling that that. When I give a gift to people, I make sure that it’s something that they will appreciate. Because a gift should be given a thought as much as possible.
Most of the time, my gifts are composed of sweet treats. My friends are now grownups like me; and they can provide things for them and their families. This is the reason why I think they will appreciate more practical gifts such as food.
And as far as I’m concerned, this is true. My friends would definitely appreciate anything I give them, but food is something that they can share with their family. This is the reason why they love it more.
I always get calls from my friends whenever I give them desserts. They always tell me how much their family love it, and if they can ask for the recipe. That always brings me a good feeling.
This oreo truffles recipe is a simple dessert that you can give as gifts. I don’t recommend them as gifts for summer though as they will really melt and they won’t look good. But they’re totally fine if your friends just live nearby.
